Scissors Type Bucket Grab Simple Structure
Scissors grab is scissors structure which is connected by main hinge, and scoop is connected by scissors beam, simple structure. There will be pulley, strengthening beam and tube installed on beam. Support chain is fixed on strengthening tube to connect with upper beam to lift the whole grab. The open and close of scissors beam is controlled by shaft rotation of center hinge under action of wire rope winding system.
Usage of Scissors Type Bucket
Scissors grab type is a new type of grab device for bulk cargo. It has the characteristics of high efficiency, easy operation, good process performance and so on. Because the grasping curve tends to be horizontal and the covering area is large, it can be used for the rake set grab for clearance. In the end stage near the closure, the grasping margin is the largest, so it is the most advantageous to grab materials with high density such as ore.
Working Principle
Two open and close wire ropes and two support wire ropes respectively operate to complete the whole motion process of the grab. Four arm rods are divided into two groups, into a cross shape connected to the bucket part, so called shear grab. When working, the support wire rope will grab to the appropriate position, and then put down the open and close wire rope, with the center axis as the fulcrum and the weight of the bucket, the bucket will open, fall on the loose accumulation of the grab, the open and close wire rope, so that the two palate plate closed, complete the process of grabbing material. Due to the principle of lever and the weight of the grab, so the grab distance is relatively large.
