TYRE MOUNTED TRUCK LOADING HOPPER WITH DUST CONTROL SYSTEM
THHI Provide Tyre mounted truck loading hopper with de-dusting system,
During handling of dry bulk cargo like rock phosphate with typical truck loading hopper, excessive dust generation occurs at truck loading / cargo transfer points which create poor visibility, cargo loss and intensive housekeeping during and after vessel operations.
The scope of work involves the design, engineering, assembly along with electrics & instrumentation, testing at shop, supply & delivery at site, storage at site and transportation to the place of installation, complete erection, testing & commissioning, performance testing at site of Tyre mounted system with dust control system complete assembly.

Flex flap type grizzly made of steel & flex material located below top of hopper. Size of grizzly shall be sufficient to pass the largest size of lump among the above said lump sizes. Flex shall be efficient to transfer material from top to bottom and shall retain suspended or displaced air inside (bottom side) only.
SLIDE GATE
Electro mechanical or hydraulic cylinder operated slide gate shall be used to control and cut- off the discharge material flow into chutes. Manual override is mandatory in any malfunction emergency or maintenance circumstances. Slide gates shall be located at bottom of hopper at sufficient operating and maintenance height. Independent operation facility shall be applied to either gate.
Dust Suppression System
Dust suppression system shall consist of spray bar assemblies fitted with spraying nozzles, pressure regulating units and flow activation stations for ON/OFF control of the system and instrumentation for auto operation.
Dust shall be suppressed at the generation point by installation of Dry fog dust suppression system.
All water & Compressed air piping will confirm to IS: 1239, Part I (GI) medium grade or IS: 3589, Class 3 (MS) depending upon pipe size. Pipe/pipe fittings will be of GI up to and including 50 mm N.B. size and of M.S / ERW quality above 50mm N.B. size.
Hangers & supports for the piping will be made of structure steel sections and will confirm to good engineering practice. Hangers and supporting arrangements shall be furnished for approval before manufacturing.
Water and compressed air shall be fed by high pressure pump and compressor to the dry fog system which is complete system capable of generating man made dry fog to suppress sub-micron level dust. Local water storage tank shall be provided with pump unit on hopper for suppression system.
Standard nozzles shall consist of stainless steel body with ruby/jeweled orifice to withstand high pressure water to create natural fog with finest possible atomization.
Water pipelines from water pump respectively to various flow activation stations pressure regulating units and nozzles assemblies shall be provided along with necessary fittings.
